Things are starting to come along further from the last update (not as fast as i would like but someone's got to work to pay for the bills and unfortunately that seems to be me. Anyway, quick little site update with forums.k-jofol.co.uk setup now to point to the forums provided at www.k-jofol.com (unfortunately i've not managed to get the time to finish setting up the forums i had planned but why re-create the wheel now that the k-jofol.com ones have been brought back from the dead :) ).

It really has been a while and unfortunately work and other commitments have kept work on this to nothing for far too long so it brings me sad news but i have to announce that.... i've done some work on it at last!!!! (Bet that had you going for a moment then).

In my internal version i've finally updated the preferences code and related handling for the skins subsection of the preferences. As well the plugin now properly reads the main skin file (*.rc) and can as i'm writing this identify the skin files that it will need to load. Along with other work png and bmp images are now effectively handled as an 'image object' which makes things a fair bit easier to deal with from my view of things. Even better now is that the startup/load time of a K-jofol skin has in some cases been improved by ~700% (based on loading times with my machine with the Sting skin).

There's still a lot more to do with the code before it's possible to publically test the plugin but it is coming along just incase you were wondering ;o)

More updates, etc etc to the site and now there's some of those lovely K-jofol skins avaialble on the Skins page. You can also find other K-Jofol resources over at Wildrose Wally's place.

Many thanks go to Wildrose Wally for his banner image which you can't have missed at the top of the page without whom the whole idea of this plugin would never have been (though i may regret it in the future).

As well i've uploaded a copy of the last version of the K-Jofol player which was released... v1.0 Beta 2 which can be found on the releases page. I'll try to get some of the available skins uploaded over the next week so you can see what they're all about so stay tuned.

K-Jofol.co.uk comes into life!! There's not a lot and most links, etc aren't going to work for a bit (since i only have so much to do things during my lunch breaks :o) (and i apologise now for the insane use of smilies, i'm just a happy person that's all)
